on to http://www.homeplans.com between
12:01 am (CST) on May 1, 2008
and 11:59 pm (CST) on May 31, 2008
(the "promotion period") and complete the Official Online Entry Form.
Press “submit” after fully completing the entry form to automatically
submit your entry. Alternatively, hand print your name, mailing address, email
address and telephone number on a 3" x 5" card and mail the completed card
to: Homeplans.com HOME PLAN SWEEPSTAKES, 213 E. 4th St., Ste. 400, St. Paul, MN 55101.
Partially completed entries will not be accepted. Entries mailed to us must be postmarked by
May 31, 2008
and received by June 3, 2008.
- Limit of one (1) entry per e-mail address and per person,
multiple entries from the same source will invalidate all entries from that source.
No electronically mass-produced or multiple entries allowed.
- Grand Prize: 5-Set package of construction blueprints.
Approximate retail value $600 (actual value may vary based upon the exact
home plan selected). Prize will
be awarded provided it is properly claimed - in accordance with these rules.
Prize is non-transferable. No prize substitution or alternative prize
will be allowed except as provided herein. Sponsor reserves the right
to substitute a prize of equal or greater value should the advertised
prize be unavailable.
- Drawing: One Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing from
among all eligible entries received. Odds of winning the Grand Prize
depends on the total number of eligible entries received. Drawing will
be held on or about June 13, 2008
and will be conducted by Anthony &
Associates, an independent judging organization whose decisions are
final and binding in all matters regarding this promotion. Winners will
be notified by e-mail or mail on or about June 20, 2008.
- Participation in the sweepstakes constitutes entrant's agreement to
abide by and be bound by the rules of the sweepstakes and the judge’s
decisions. Except where prohibited, entry into this contest constitutes
permission for the sponsor and their designated parties to use the
winner’s name and likeness for promotion, advertising and publicity
purposes at no additional compensation. Except where prohibited,
winners also agree to grant sponsor the right to print, publish, broadcast and use,
worldwide in any media now known or hereafter developed including but
not limited to the world wide web at any time or times, each winner’s
name, portrait, picture, voice likeness and biographical information as
news or information and for advertising, trade and promotional purposes
without additional consideration and without review, notification or
approval.
- Prize winner will be required to execute and return, within
seven (7) days of prize notification, a notarized affidavit of
eligibility and release of liability and publicity (except where prohibited).
Failure to comply with these requirements may result in
forfeiture of prize, disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Prize may
also be forfeited if the notification is mailed or e-mailed to the
address listed on entry form and returned as undeliverable
without a forwarding address. The awarding of a prize to a Canadian
winner will be subject to such person correctly answering, unaided
and within a time limit, an arithmetical skill-testing question
administered by telephone at a mutually convenient time. Failure
to comply with this requirement may result in forfeiture of prize,
disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
- By accepting the prize, winner assumes responsibility for, and
waives the right to assert as a
cost of winning said prize, any and all costs of redemption or travel
to redeem said prize and any and all liability that might arise from
redeeming or seeking said prize and winner releases sponsor, its
affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, officers, directors, and
promotion and advertising agencies from any and all liability,
loss or damage, incurred with respect to the awarding, redeeming, receipt,
possession, use and/or misuse of any prize or participation in any
prize related activities and acknowledge that said parties have
neither made, nor are in any manner responsible or liable for, any
warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact
or in law, relative to the prize, including, but not limited to,
its quality, condition, merchantability, mechanical
condition or fitness for a particular purpose. Sponsor is not
responsible for ISP provider malfunction, postal problems, phone/cable company
problems or equipment malfunction in connection with the sweepstakes.
Sponsor is not responsible
for incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by
Internet virus, by any of the equipment or programming associated
with or utilized in the sweepstakes, by any technical or human
error which may occur in the processing of the entries in the
sweepstakes or otherwise. Sponsor does not guarantee that the Web site is free
from error, viruses or other destructive materials. Sponsor shall not
have any liability as a result of any inability to access the
Web site, nor for any other damages caused to your computer hardware,
software, data, printer or other systems as a result of your actual or
attempted participation in the sweepstakes.
Sponsor assumes no responsibility for computer system, hardware, software
or program malfunctions nor for other errors, failures, or delays
that are human or technical in nature. Sponsor reserves the
right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend the on-line
portion or aspects of this sweepstakes in the event any virus, bugs or other causes beyond
Sponsor's reasonable control corrupt the administration, security or proper play
of the sweepstakes. Winner will be solely responsible for paying all
applicable federal, state and local taxes on the prize based upon the value
of the prize as set forth in these rules or otherwise notified to winner,
and for all related filings and reporting. Any attempt to defraud
Sponsor or other entrants may be prosecuted and will result in disqualification and
forfeiture of any prize.
- Eligibility: This sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the
